Dear Lincoln, Within a 5 min walk of our house, there are at least six empty houses that I can think of. I wonder how many more are like this across town.
We are expecting our first child in July and are getting kicked out of our current rental May 15th while our own home renovation goes on and on. We have looked everywhere (Sabbatical Homes, AirBnB, VRBO, Zillow, real estate agents) and are really struggling to find a suitable place to live nearby that will take a young family with a dog. If anyone owns or knows of someone who owns one of these empty houses, and would be willing to arrange for house-sitting / short-term rental, we would be extremely grateful. I'm afraid pregnancy hormones plus the stress of having to move three times in one year has pushed me to think outside the box. Please, if you know of anyone in the Lincoln/Sudbury/Concord/Weston area who has a place to rent, please, please let us know. Thank you so much, Jude
