I'm doing research for future troubleshooting. I've obtained a position
where I am responsible for tech support for our previously released CD ROMS.
I have already recieved a call concerning no sound at all from the piece.
I've had little experience in this area and am primarily a Mac guy. So my
request is this:
If someone could suggest some key things to look for or ask when
troubleshooting sound problems on a PC. Or even a good book on
troubleshooting in general.
The software was developed in D7 and uses AIFF's for sound files. I'm sorry
I don't have any information on the user's computer, because they decided it
wasn't worth the time to try and fix.
I have currently updated to D7.0.2, and am using it for future projects, but
since I was trained in D6, the changes have been dramatic, so I would
appreciate any insight or suggestions.
