Hello there!

Hopefully somewhere here will be able to answer this question -

I'm curious how Director8 authored Shockwave apps work with
older versions of Shockwave. For example - if someone was
attempting to play a Shockwave app authored in Director8, but
their version of Shockwave was old (for sake of the question
whatever version of Shockwave was available during Director6/7)
would the Shockwave app created in Director8 work? or would
Shockwave prompt for the installation of the newer version?

If it does prompt for the newer version - does anyone know what
the cut off is? that is - the oldest version of Shockwave that will
still play Shockwave apps authored in Director8?

Thanks for the help.
