hello list
we are currently working on a project
( http://www.fiftyfifty.org/passenger
that has a grid (756 x 809 / 4 bits / grayscale ) with 16 instances of an icon (12 x
11, 8 bit, 638 bytes) - all moving on the stage (487 x 525) in reference to the
mouseposition .
the grid moves over the top of various QT movies (between 200 & 500 k) that always
play in the same place.
the problem is that when the videos are playing the movement of the grid becomes very
slow.
obviously the computer finds it difficult to move the grid at the same time as
playing the movie :
is there any clever workaround for this ?
