A Genesys Logic device, and an attempted 65536-byte transfer. These devices have been problematic for a long time. A workaround, based on information from Genesys Logic technical support has been included in recent versions of the kernel, but I'm not sure in which version it first appears. Evidently it's not in the version you're using, because part of the workaround is to limit transfers to 32768 bytes. You can try upgrading your kernel, or you can try applying this patch: http://marc.theaimsgroup.com/?l=linux-usb-devel&m=108938736229333&q=raw Alan Stern ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by BEA Weblogic Workshop FREE Java Enterprise J2EE developer tools!
