Greetings,

I've search the web for an answer to the following:

I have a Redhat Linux 7.2 installation on a Dell Poweredge 350 box.
I've connected two of the Belkin F5U103 USB Serial Adapters.
Hotplugging works fine, i.e. if I disconnect the USB ports and then
reconnect them again, the serial adapters are recognized and the
two devices /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 are working fine.

However, if I reboot the machine, the serial devices are lost and
I have to disconnect and connect the serial adapters to get them
working again. This is somewhat impractical since this is a server
machine sitting in a server room at some distance from my desk.

So, how do I get the USB coldstart working?

Appreciate any info on this subject.
