Could you elaborate?  Ie.

VM-1....actually generation of log messages and
sending them to a socket.
VM-2....waiting on log events on a given socket (ie.
chainsaw would be used)...at the same time, I like the
log events to go to a file.

How should I configure things?  Thanks a bunhc.
