Hi folk, I'd like to announce Log4r, a logging system for the Ruby programming language that was inspired by Log4j:
http://log4r.sourceforge.net It's not as fast, being interpreted, and doesn't have all the features Log4j offers. However, there are a few things the Log4j folk might find interesting. Please peruse the link! For some info about the Ruby language, please look at http://www.ruby-lang.org/en/whats.html and http://www.ruby-lang.org You might be amused to know that Log4r took only 3 days to write and 3 to prepare the distribution.
