The LTSP client I setup works well on the first time login with X window. However, if I choose Gnome -> logout -> yes, the screen blanks out and the xdm login window does not show up. If I do a <Ctrl><Alt><BackSpace> after I login, X server gets reset and the xdm login window shows up.
The xdm-config has a terminateServer resource. I add the line DisplayManager*terminateServer: true to /etc/X11/xdm/xdm-config. The problem still happens. Is there anyway to force the X server on client side to restart after logout from window manager? Anyone had this problem before? Any help is highly appreciated.
