Hi Giorgio, After reading the man page for dhcp-options, you can create as many option codes as you want. To add another option for the lpp patch try
option option-130 "vga=0x301 console=/dev/tty2"; I am not an expert on dhcp, so if this is incorrect please let us know. I also found that this option was not necessary to display the lpp screen on my clients. As long as I listed the lpp kernel in the dhcpd.conf file it loaded without the option line. filename "/lts/vmlinuz-2.4.9-ltsp-lpp-1"; Good luck, Erick On Tue, 2001-11-27 at 07:59, giorgio rossi wrote: > Hi Eric, > > I have already the option option-129 busy from the NIC, > > option option-129 "NIC=ne I0=0x320"; > > have a suggest ? > > tanks > giorgio > > Il mar, 30 ott 2001, scrivesti: > > James, > > > > You also need the following lines for each workstation in your dhcpd.conf > > file in order for the lpp screen to display: > > > > option option-128 e4:45:74:68:00:00; > > option option-129 "vga=0x301 console=/dev/tty2"; > > > > Hope this helps, > > > > Erick > -----------snip------- > -- > Giorgio Rossi > Tech. - Dept. > Brazzoli S.p.A. _____________________________________________________________________ Ltsp-discuss mailing list.
