Hi, apt works now with the 3.0.0 packages. Add
deb http://termserv.berlios.de/debian stable main non-free to /etc/apt/sources.list, and after an apt-get update you should see the new packages. BTW, packages of 2.08 are still there, you can even install them parallel, for example if you first want to test the new release before switching everything over.
