I ftp it.

Other method, I think:
/var/opt/ltsp/swapfiles is mounted rw from the server on /tmp/swapfiles if
you have enabled swap for the ws; if not, you can create a subdir unter
/tmp on the ws and mount it.
/etc/XF86Config can be written on the ws, cause it is located on ramdisk.
You only have to copy that file to /tmp/swapfiles or equivalent to
have it on your server.
