You cannot use Terminal Services to connect to XP Pro. You can use NetMeeting, but I do not think that has a Linux equivalent, though I might be wrong. VNC will also work, and has a linux client, but if you read the EULA from MS you will find that using VNC to control XP breaks the license agreement (at least in the US). This was done by MS to prevent users from using XP as a server. They want you to purchase Win2k Server for those types of uses. Sorry but that is the way it is.

I am trying to connect to a WinXP Pro system using terminal services. I have rdesktop 1.1 installed and working for connection to our W2K Server running TS. I try to connect to a WinXP Pro system and all I get is "connection refused". There is nothing at all in the WinXP event log to help. Anyone have any idea's?
