Hi,
Im trying to get an IBM NetVista thin client to boot linux. At the moment it it is booting NetBSD from a flash card.
Ive set it to boot from an image on my tftp sever. It copies the image across fine but says Unsupported file type and doesnt boot.

If I copy the netBSD image from the flash card it does boot but the screen blanks I presume it cant find any of its files, but atleast it does boot.

So basically I need to find out how to get my linux kernel into a format it will accept and boot, any ideas? Ive found this old email about it but no solution.

Prehaps Mr Julius Szelagiewicz has solved the problem?

Tried mknbi-linux bzImage --output=kernel --rootdir=/nfsroot still the same problem. Any advice or things to try would be cool.

Cheers
  Laurence
