There are allot of us using mandrkae for servers that could very easily prove

Take a look at netcraft and look for advanced extranet server. Guess what that
is mandrake and it has more installs than any other single apache install. It
has more installs than lotus domino server.
You better rethink what you are trying to say.
Agreed, mandrake is becoming a very good server platform. I think that
for honest workhoarses though that there are better suited distros. My
three favorite for servers are, in this order, Slackware, Gentoo, and
Debian. Mandrake is quite good... I've used it on my desktop for some
time and there are very few things holding me back from calling it a
good server distro, not withholding their latest LG cdrom incident. You
are right though. I'm coming from a UNIX background and I just find
that the above mentioned servers work better for servers. If you need
graphical... you probably should be using a linux distro!!!
