and does not proceed to windows login.

Where (What config file) is the declaration to the keymap/en-us?

On a system I configured, I copied the keymap files to the appropriate
/opt/ltsp/i386 directory (/ = /opt/ltsp/i386).
This allowed rdesktop to work perfect.
