Is it possible to obtain a newer LTSP kernel that includes either the LPP patch or perhaps better the suse boot splash code (www.bootsplash.org)?
I have tried to download the sources, patch a 2.4.24 kernel source with bootspash, and use the kernel config from the ltsp initrc files, but got myself in a right mess! The bootsplash code allows the boot process to be hidden under normal use, the graphic can be cleared by hitting a key for debugging. Thanks Rob Keeling -- I love deadlines. I love the whooshing noise they make as they go by. - Douglas Adams ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email sponsored by Black Hat Briefings & Training.
