hello

i have properly setup access to local devices w/ autofs et smbfs.

i have a problem with usb key though:

once the device /dev/sda1 is mounted( when ls'ing proper directory ):
i cant write to it though it is mounted readwrite.
server logs give: "smb_create: //filename failed, error=-2"

then i have a whole bunch ( every "timeout" seconds" ) of "running
expiration on path ... \n expired ..." as if it cant unload the device
properly ( and i hav double checked that its not busy"

ps ax reveals a stale mount.smbfs process:
31378 ?        Ss     0:00 /sbin/mount.smbfs //remote3/usb
/mnt//remote3_usb -o rw workgroup LTSP <....>

relevant lts.conf part:
MODULE_01          = usbcore
MODULE_02          = usb-uhci
MODULE_03          = usb-storage
LOCAL_DEVICE_01 = /dev/sda:usb

/etc/auto.master:
/mnt/ /etc/auto.misc --timeout 60

/etc/auto.misc:
remote3_usb
-fstype=smbfs,workgroup=LTSP,guest,username=nobody,rw,fmask=666,dmask=777
://remote3/usb

any idea gratly appreciated

regards
