There has now been a really long discussion of this on the Scribus mailing
list, including discussion about how well Scribus does on a remote X
sessions and the fruitfullness (or not) of teaching primary school kids
DTP. I'll pass on a link to the archives when it's available.
It was pointed out that you could download the HTML version and change the
picture, and that the tutorial was a very good introduction to DTP, but
not necessarily to Scribus, and was also for a very old version of Scribus.
