As we know there is a bug in xcb which causes remote java to be slow.
This bug is filed in Xorgs Bugzilla:
http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=17868

Remember, Frank who startet this thread applied the workaround described
in launchpad:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libxcb/+bug/277069

but was not sufficient with the performance.

Testing the difference between remote x vs remote nx makes no sense if
you are searching for other causes of java slowness but have not applied
the workaround for the first bug.
