I don't have the time to test it, but to me it looks like the package you use is not mature enough yet (e.g. missing/non-working translations). Remember that future interface changes will cause a lot of trouble, both for LyX users and developers. Concerning the DVI problem: IMHO you can ignore it as long as the produced DVI file is valid and correctly handled by dvips. DVI viewers have similar problems e.g. with psfrag or rotated stuff, but postscript creation via dvips is very important and should work. For example, our print shop has problems with our pdf files because they use an old buggy acrobat. Postscript works fine for them, and previes of psotscript is faster on linux than pdf. Georg
