xforms library problem

Hello,

if I run

 ./configure --enable-debug --prefix=/what/ever 
--with-extra-prefix=/what/ever --with-frontend=qt 
--with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt-3.0.5

LyX says that xforms is missing (which is right but irrelevant) I guess 
the problem has to do with the following settings

 Special build flags:            warnings assertions use-pspell 
xforms-image-loader

Any idea why I cannot build qt without xforms?
