Sorry about that Bo but this was my first python patch ever IIRC ;-)
The test was about C/C++... :-)
My original patch against iconv.m4 worked... It was just about about a
prototype being doubly defined when the dll symbol were exported.
Anyway, it turns out that const or not
both work under linux, so if Peter's patch works for you, I will apply
it.
I'll try.
