Hi Scott I've currently uninstalled Lyx from my laptop. I've noticed on the lyx-users platform a suggestion to do that as well as downloading the following link below
http://wiki.lyx.org/Windows/LyXWinInstaller Should this work? Would I still need to make any changes after downloading Lyx from the link above, like coping the layout packages from MiKTeX to LyX? Also I can't seem to post any questions on Lyx-users platform. I'd really appreciate your help Scott.
