The DVI solution being text-only was kind of a drag for me. I was already used to the NEC CRT solution which supports 40x24 and a couple of different graphics-only modes, so I never really had much interest in a DVI personally. Now Stephen's idea about a new video solution definitely piques my curiosity; he's exploring the idea of using a VGA chip. OMG the possibilities!
