Hello,

In Snow Leopard, Safari 5.1 now has the option in Preferences, General, "Safari 
opens with" that you can set to:
 "All windows from last session" or
 "A new window".

This last one means Safari doesn't remember the tabs and windows you had opened 
in the previous session.

Sorry if this has nothing to do with Safari's preferences in Lion... I decided 
to wait a few days and let the dust settle.
