Furthermore, you can make a word macro that opens up a series of workspaces
and issues a series of search and replace commands.

I do this in the following manner:

Move the files as necessary, noting the new location for each move.

Then edit the workspace in Notepad.  Using "search and replace",  amend the
location only (omitting the filename).  This method is still time consuming,
but much easier and more accurate than any other method that I have tried.

Hello Everyone

I am moving a few of the tab files used in approximately 100 workspaces
that reference these files...

As you know, each workspace is set up to reference the tab file in one
location.

Is there a quick and easy way to change the location in each of these
workspaces, as opposed to opening each one individually and repointing?

I have tried copying the new path into the workspace using Notepad, but
there still seem to be problems...
