Hello Keith I've had such a problem. There's no standart way for this functionality. But I've made this so : 1. extract all object polygons into different objects (using function extractnodes) 2. check whether at least one of these objects lays "entire within" another one. The point is that when you extract polygons from the region with hole you then get overlapping objects, one of them lays entirely within the secoond one. Just try and you'll see it Good luck Sent: Thursday, 20 November 2003 12:36 AM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: MI-L Identifying Regions with Holes
Hi all, Is there any way to identify, by a query or other straightforward process, all regions that have a hole or holes in them? The ObjectInfo function will enable multi-polygon regions to be identified, but I can't see that it will provide what I want. Any suggestions?
