Anirban,

I've created a seamless layer with around 3,000 rasters, but I don't
know the upper limit.
It's been suggested to me before that MI works best with fewer large
rasters. If you can sitch your smaller rasters into a large one, then
I'd do that.

Tim

Figured out first part. I am interested to know the limitations on
numbers of rasters in a seamless layer.

Subject: [MI-L] Seamless raster layer and number limitation

Hi

What are the steps to create a seamless raster layer using 100s of
raster files?

Is there any limitation to the number of rasters which can be used in a
seamless raster file?

Thanks

A
