Hi, i have a problem to render icons with Mapnik, maybe anyone can help me.
I have installed Mapnik from the svn (Revision 12619) and everythink works fine with the osm-template.xml. All Areas and Streets are looking good on the Map with a osm-planet-dumb in a PostgreSQL-Database. But I'm missing all the Icons on the Map. The Path to the Icon-Directory is correct, so Mapnik can find all the Icon-Files: > export MAPNIK_SYMBOLS_DIR=/home/sascha/osm/mapnik/mapnik/symbols I also have tried with a / as last char at the path, but no changes. I found out, that Icons will be showing, when they came from an Area. For a test I have rendered a transparent School-Layer and everywhere, where is an amenity=school Area i see the Icons, but allways where is only a Node i see nothing. I searched some Days how to fix this Problem, but i found no resolution. What can i do to fix the Problem, anybody an Idea?
