1) Register on the trac wiki:
https://trac.mapnik.org/register
2) Login
3) go to a page url of your choosing that does not exist (using
CamelCase page name):
e.g. https://trac.mapnik.org/wiki/WmsFaq
4) start editing another page that looks like it might offer a good
example of what you want to write:
https://trac.mapnik.org/wiki/InstallationTroubleshooting
5) Copy and paste some text out of that page as starter material for
formatting your new page
6) write like a wild man
7) the page name will automatically become a link if placed somewhere
on another page.
The folks in #mapnik irc will see your edits stream into the chat room
so others will help correct anything you might be uncertain about.
