Rather than pay to comment on this article, let me just say that;
Well, what is being addressed by this article is the United Front, in whatever
Social Order one finds oneself. The proposal that any united front just covers
over the differences to join in on one issue – this is what was called
issueism, known among differing currents in the Vietnam Anti-War Movement.
This firstly obscures the difference between the United Front or the Popular
Front.
Stalinism considered it necessary to united with the progressive national
bourgeoisie and their party, most notably in the colonial struggles but
extending to the Molotov-Ruggantrop Pact. Trotsky/Bronstein initially
presented the Comintern’s strategy of the United Front, in opposition to the
popular Front collaborations and a subordination to the national
bourgeoisie-compradors in the colonial struggles, like China.
In the current context the United Front excludes the liberal bourgeoisie on
principle to united the various Social Orders of nationalities, gender,
biology, or class. As such we retain our differences to consider together while
providing for unity in action, against ‘racism’, classism, sectarian
Antisemitism, racist Antisemitism, genderism or sectarianism.
In this we have begun and this is named the United Inter-National
Communalist Convergence.
