Carlo Tresca was a lifelong radical labor activist (starting as a young man in Italy before coming to the U.S. in 1904) who had wide and deep experience, relationships and knowledge of the labor and socialist movements in the U.S. and internationally. Tresca had all the right enemies: capitalists - including mafia and fascists - and Stalinists, all with their international murder incorporated organs.
