Hello,
I don't think Sharp support are the ones to blame - you should have been
aware of the warranty terms when buying from Japan. When I buy any products
from other countries I make sure to get a worldwide warranty or a way to
send it back to where I bought it. Whats the old saying? Read the fine
print. If its in another language, be sure of what you're getting yourself
into :)
Sorry about the problem though, hope you find a way to get it fixed,
