Hi people,
I've recently joined this list and the knowledge base is great for
someone like me who's about to get a portable MD. So I now
have questions that I hope you can clarify.
I intend to use an portable MD for concert recordings, and then
putting onto cdr. I presently have an AWE64 Gold soundcard and
will upgrade to a Live! (not value).
Here goes:
1. Can I copy truly digitally to my PC or will I be using
the analogue part of the soundcard too - as if copying a tape or
album to the PC. If it uses the analogue, anyone experience
problems with sound loss/quality?
2. Anyone suggest a good UK supplier where I can get hooked up
with an MD and stealth mics? Or a separate supplier of the mics
would be appreciated.
