Boss? I'm flattered, but I don't necessarily agree with such a stature 3#-)

At any rate, after checking out my R50, it would appear that the easiest way
to access the latching parts of the mechanism would be to remove the 2
screws on the left side (ie. The side where the in/out sockets are located)
of the top door. There is one on each corner of that side so it would be a
simple matter of undoing those 2 screws and then sliding the door off the
entire assembly. That should enable you to get a better look at the latch
mechanism and align and/or replace any necessary parts.

Adios,
LarZ

I browsed thru the archives of the list, and found a person with the
same problem that Im experiencing; this is a better explanation of it,
in my case its a R50
More generically, what's the fewest number of screws i need to mess with

to open up the upper housing?

I'll say this much, after trying to figure out which the screw holds
what
down, the R50 really looks really compactly designed.

please I need help

Larz! you are the boss in here!!! what do you suggest?
