The only way would be via analogue outputs/inputs. Since compact cassette is
not a digital format, there is no way of doing it digitally.
So get behind your MD deck, take the 2 RCA outputs (left and right) and plug
them into the left and right inputs of your tape recorder (assuming it is a
stereo unit, as most are). There is no reason for you to be stuck with a
mono recording if the tape deck is a stereo unit.

I'm wondering what the best way to get a recorded minidisc transferred to a
regular old cassette would be. I can't seem to locate anything that would
