Jeffrey Lan asked,

| i was just doing a little recording on my R50 (using a used hi space disc
| b/c i have no blanks), and in the middle i decided that i really didn't want
| to. however, when i played it back (to make sure the old music was there),
| the new music was there, despite the fact that i disconnected all power
| sources before anything could be written to the disc. The strange thing is,
| only the music data changed...the toc, complete with titles is still fully
| intact.....any possible guesses as to why?

That is absolutely normal and correct behavior. The music is written down as
you record; the TOC changes are saved later (exactly when that happens varies
from model to model). You recorded new music but didn't save the new TOC, so
you had the old TOC and new music.
