I recently bought a Sony DHC-555 5cd/5md changer shelf system and now I'm looking into getting the Sharp MT831 portable, but I was wondering how compatible the sharp unit would be with the sony for making md to md digital recordings? In the users manual for the sony shelf system they say that only specific sony md players can be used (the newest version being the MZ-R50). I don't know how true this is and am curious if anyone has any info on this matter? Thanks.
