=== The original message was multipart MIME === === All non-text parts (attachments) have been removed === I am just trying to get an inexpensive optical in on a soundcard so that I can get my home deck optical out hooked up to it directly. The whole sb live value ($40) and hoontech optical in bracket (~$30) can be had for $70. I already have the Xitel, but it only has optical out. Anyway when I switched the card to my new computer with Windows 98, I can't even get the Xitel optical out to work. Do you have any suggestions for an inexpensive optical in on a soundcard? -Glen Matt Wall <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I'm curious why everyone likes the sb live card soo much? I purchased one and have had nothing but trouble with it from day one. I'm pretty much 100 aureal chipset any more. as for a generic toslink out card, IMO the Xitel is one of the best as long as your using ms products. anyway that's my 2 cents. -----Original Message----- From: G G To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Sunday, April 16, 2000 4:02 PM Subject: MD: sb live! value + hoontech = ? > > === The original message was multipart MIME === > === All non-text parts (attachments) have been removed === > >Two more things: 1) Where can I get the best price for a soundblaster live! value card? 2) Are there more than one "version" of sb live! value card? and if so, will the Hoontech bracket work with all of them? > >Thanks for your help. If you reply to me personally please reply to [EMAIL PROTECTED] I finally got my own dedicated MD email address, instead of using a borrowed mitch2898 address. > >-Glen > > > >--------------------------------- >Do You Yahoo!? >Send online invitations with Yahoo!
