While this is really a different issue, it should be pointed out that if you try to eject by simply feeling for the button on the MZR50, it's very easy to accidentally hit record instead since the buttons are right next to each other, shaped exactly the same, and slide the same direction. What David was pointing out is that End Search is doubly bad because in addition to problems when you purposely record, there is also a chance that you can accidentally record (plus the reports of "spontaneous" recording on some Sony porties).
