No, it is about how much money the record companies get.

To wit, take a good long look at what Courtney Love is up to, demanding her
slice of the Universal vs. MP3 pie.  She'll get nothing from Universal,
which really shows that the record companies are *NOT* doing it to protect
their artists, but their profits.
