You do realize, don't you, that before there was the PS2 (PlayStation
2) there was the PS/2 (Personal System/2)...a personal computer built
by IBM?  You also realize, don't you, that before those computers,
keyboards used a large 5-pin DIN connector, and that since, computers
now use a 6-pin mini DIN connector?  Well, those 6-pin Mini DIN
connectors are, by and large in the computer industry, called PS/2
connectors, because the first computers to use those connectors were
PS/2 computers.
