MD: . remote for MDS-JE440

hello-

i bought my recorder from best buy. it was a display model, and while it
was in fine shape, and i bought the extended warranty, it did not have the
remote control and manual. i know it's in that store somewhere, but only
god knows where.

does anyone know where i can get the remote? does sony sell them? I went
to their site, but it's the most useless site i've ever seen for existing
costumers.
