I want to get rid of my R90 because of two reasons:
1) no good for live recording (very hard to adjust levels in the dark)
2) Doesn't go even close to loud enough. I set the rec levels as high as
they will go, and its still too quiet. I use sony 888 earbuds.
Anyone have any recommends? Thanks,

Yeah, April 1st is right. The unit looks suspiciously like my R900, right
down to the button positions, the dual jog levers (and positioning) and the
display.
