You know I was going to ask this myself after reading the post from the guy 
asking about DSP Type R.  As a mailing list it's good to have a FAQ to point 
to, but the default answer and attitude to questions like that from people 
who could be potentially new to the list shouldn't be "read the FAQ and come 
back when you've learned something".

Just my two cents.  Sorry for beings lightly off-topic.
