Ok, so there is this flat looking bushing and a small cylinder with what looks like a piston through it.

can you see them from looking into the engine bay, or is it only seen when the car is on the lift?

I am still hunting for my old catalog from performance products with all the exploded drawings, so sorry for all the little questions...

Just trying to make sure, if they are taking something apart to do one thing, it makes sense to replace other small parts that only might take 10 min to do, rather than incur another full hour labor charge.

I am also doing the front shocks, and rear struts, and accumulators.  That is another post...

Thanks

Hmm. Okay. Then you should have them replace the motor mounts with good quality German parts. Good time for the engine shocks also. The shock mounts are shockingly expensive ($300 for both, roughly), but you may need the one on the drivers side, as it sits under the injection pump and is prone to being subject to any fuel leaks that may occur.
