https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LiveUsbPendrivePersistent The best website for Linux and USB that I have found is http://www.pendrivelinux.com I do not think USB is overated. It is much more durable and reliable than a cd and the speed is a thousand times better. You just need a bios that supports it, pretty much anything after 2001. Unebootin is an easy app which I thought use to have an option for persistent but can't find anymore. Googling around I found these instructions. http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/diskimg/readme.txt Matthias Johnson _______________________________________________ Mid-Hudson Valley Linux Users Group http://mhvlug.org http://mhvlug.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/mhvlug Upcoming Meetings (6pm - 8pm) MHVLS Auditorium Feb 3 - Arduino Mar 3 - Sahana and 7 Years of MHVLUG Celebration Apr 7 - Nagios
