Greetings! I just sent the following to OSWG (http://www.oswg.org): -- Midgard 1.2.6-beta2 released from the looking-for-writers dept. ------------ The second beta for Midgard 1.2.6 is now available. This new release wraps up all improvements that have come up since Midgard 1.2.5 was released in November 1999. This release should serve as the basis to write documentation for as we plan to include at least the function reference into the final release. Midgard is an Application Server Suite originally developed by Jukka Zitting and Henri Bergius as a solution for managing an online magazine. Midgard has since matured into a powerful application for developing and serving critical, dynamically generated web applications. ------------ Many of the new functions introduced in this release are not yet covered by the Function Reference, and a basic usage tutorial could be also needed. This beta is a good chance for people interested in contributing documentation to get involved in the process. The documentation is being worked on in the DocBook SGML format and coordinated using the project's CVS repository. The files can be accessed through the anonymous CVS interface from directory 'midgard/cvs'. Please contact the Midgard mailing list if you are interested in contributing.
