Hi folks,

I am just starting with Midgard, but I'm excited about the prospects!

Editing HTML for newbies (say, my parents) can be intimidating, even for
Midgard users.

I have come up with a simple DHTML editing scheme for adding HTML tags to
textareas without having to know the ins and outs of HTML, using your
browser as the editor. I'm not sure if it works with Netscape (I don't have
it installed), but it works well with IE5 on my Windows box.

The idea came from Bookmarklets at http://www.bookmarklets.com.

If you're interested, I have posted an example page at my site(s). I hereby
make all code copyright- and patent-free. Use it, distribute it, point to
it, whatever.

Where it's posted:

1. Tehama County Health Partnership http://www.tchp.org/testEditor.html

2. vwbus.editthispage.com (yes, I'm trying out Manila, too)

:)

Enjoy!
